Condition: Near fine. Original polished calf, 366 pp. Extra endsheets from an arithmetic primer. Internally clean with occasional light spots; boards have some lift to them, although it is not due to moisture or water damage. Well preserved copy of Willison’s second most popular work behind Afflicted Man’s Companion. Willison (1683-1750), an important minister in the Scottish Free Church with strong ties to Ebeneezer Erskine.
